This notice explains the processing of personal data through the dataturk.net contact form and the secure operation of the website.

Personal data processed

The contact form processes your name, email address, telephone number, optional company name and message. Information you voluntarily include in your message may also be processed. The form is not designed for submitting sensitive personal data.

For form security, we process your IP address, request time and limited technical data used for rate limiting. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals relating to your device, connection and browser for bot verification.

Purposes of processing

Data is processed to receive and answer your enquiry, discuss products, services or projects, and manage communications and enquiry records relating to a potential business relationship. Technical data is used to secure the site and form and prevent spam, bots, attacks and misuse. Where information must be retained by law or provided to competent authorities, the relevant legal obligations are fulfilled.

Collection method and legal grounds

Your personal data is collected electronically, by wholly or partly automated means, when you complete the contact form, make technical requests to the website or use its security verification mechanisms. If your enquiry directly concerns entering into or performing a contract, the necessary data may be processed under KVKK Article 5(2)(c). Data needed to respond to your enquiry and secure the site may be processed for the controller’s legitimate interests under Article 5(2)(f), provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed. Information that must be retained by law or provided to competent authorities may be processed to meet a legal obligation under Article 5(2)(ç). This notice is not a request for explicit consent.

Disclosure of data

Your personal data may be shared with hosting providers to host and technically operate the website; email infrastructure providers to deliver contact enquiries to the company; and information security and bot prevention providers to secure the site and form and prevent spam, bots and misuse. Data may also be shared with competent public authorities where legally required. Cloudflare Turnstile is used for security verification.

Your rights under KVKK

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information if it has been processed.
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used in line with that purpose.
  • Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad.
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • Request the erasure or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the Law.
  • Request that correction, erasure or destruction of your personal data be communicated to third parties to whom the data was transferred.
  • Object to an adverse outcome resulting solely from analysis by automated systems.
  • Request compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

How to apply

You may submit requests under KVKK Article 11 to the data controller by methods prescribed by applicable law. Written applications may be sent to the company address below. Requests are answered as soon as possible according to their nature and no later than 30 days.
